To lead and guide the Institute for excellence in Environmental Research by setting the mandate and vision. To align the Institute to National and CSIR goals and missions, within the regulatory framework of CSIR.
To provide all secretarial and administrative support to the all-institutional activities involving Director, directly or indirectly.
