The precise instrumental analysis is a critical component of research and development (R&D) activities. The Sophisticated Environmental Analytical Facility (SEAF) at CSIR-NEERI is an essential part of this effort, housing state-of-the-art analytical instruments. SEAF supports the testing and analysis of samples from various projects and research activities within the Institute by utilizing central facility instruments. Its R&D focuses on soil analysis, monitoring and remediation of organic pollutants, as well as assessment of environmental noise and ground borne vibration for various projects. Additionally, SEAF plays a significant role in implementing ISO 17025 standards for laboratories at CSIR-NEERI through NABL accreditation for various environmental analytical parameters.
