Abstracts for paper and poster session

Authors intending to submit paper and participate in poster presentation are invited to submit abstracts of about 150-200 words on studies falling under any of the above mentioned themes. The theme under which the presentation is to be made should be clearly indicated. Abstracts should be submitted electronically with Water 2011 - NEERI as the subject of the e-mail latest by October 31, 2010. The abstract must include the name(s), affiliation, mailing address, telephone, e-mail and fax numbers. The abstracts should be typed in one and half space in English and sent to the Organizing Secretary of the Conference. The authors whose abstracts are selected for poster presentation and inclusion in the proceedings shall be intimated by November 15, 2010. Acceptance of the paper(s) will be based on the abstracts submitted and will be subject to the submission of full length paper, which must be presented in sessions during the conference.

Guidelines for abstract submission

The full paper, with two hard copies, along with CD/Soft copy should be sent latest by November 30, 2010.

The papers will be accepted for publication in proceedings of the Conference once abstract is accepted. However, the paper will have to comply with issued guidelines. Moreover, paper will undergo rigorous review and it will be included after all the corrections are made by the author.

Selected papers of the registered participants will only be published in National and International Journals e.g. Journals of IWA Publication namely Water Science and Technology, Water Science and Technology – Water Supply and Water Practice and Technology and Journal of Indian Water Works Association. Indian Association for Environmental Management (IAEM) will bring out special issue to include papers of this International Conference after peer review.

At least poster presentation is confirmed for the selected abstracts and the oral presentation will be based on recommendation by the committee set up for review of full length paper.

The template for oral presentation and poster will be posted on the Conference Website by November 30, 2010. The participants should send soft copy of their PowerPoint / Poster by December 31, 2010.
